Fuad I. Z. Fachroeddin (PT MITJ), together with senior representatives from PT KAI, PT MRT Jakarta, and KIAT, opened the market consultation.
KIAT is supporting PT Moda Integrasi Transportasi Jabodetabek (PT MITJ) in advancing the Sudirman Gateway project through a market consultation with government, private sector and investor representatives. The initiative aims to transform Sudirman and BNI City Stations into a dynamic and integrated Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) precinct.
Held on 10 July 2025, the market consultation engaged partners to align the project with market needs and investor interest. Discussions highlighted lessons from past TOD exercises, emphasising the importance of aligning interests and demand, strengthening stakeholder coordination, and developing strategies for non-fare revenue. Market analysis identified opportunities for a hotel, serviced apartments, and retail facilities, alongside the need to address practical considerations such as parking, vendor management, and ride-hailing integration. With KIAT’s support, PT MITJ is updating the project’s feasibility study and business model (to be completed by October 2025) to strengthen prospects for private sector participation.
The updated study aims to position Sudirman Gateway as a world-class transit hub and commercial destination at the heart of Jakarta’s economic corridor.
